Why Should I Quit Smoking

Monday, March 21, 2011

A short introduction: So many people smoke and desire can not stop that we have recently published a new website TheStopSmokingSource.com dedicated to helping these people break the chain. I personally watched my brother to smoke early, painful death and I'm currently watching my sister do the same thing. It is painful to watch, but also to watch my 91 years old grieving mother as she watches her children slowly dying. If you smoke and want to quit, please visit our website and get the help you need. If someone you love needs help to quit the cancer sticks, for goodness sake, please visit our site and you will find the help you need. Enjoy the article:

Why should I quit

I can not remember I first heard the term "cancer sticks" or "coffin nails" used in relation to cigarette smoking. I was pretty young, so that goes back several lustrum's. If you do not know how long it lustrum, watch it.

So why do people take up habits like smoking anyway. So let me turn the question around, why did I ever think it's cool to smoke?

I tried cigarettes but never learned to inhale. The first time I tried I nearly choked to death (yea, I see you're laughing, because it happened to you too ).

Then I have tried cigars, and I loved them, but people around me hated it, especially my wife. She gave me an ultimatum: "Would you prefer to smoke those things or be loved because they are not going to have both." So it was a no-brainer! I had a good love life and wanted to keep.

So then I switched on the tube. I thought the barrel looked so cool (it was), but it is not tolerated. But then I started getting sore throat and coughing up bloody mess (I'm not going there because I know that you get the picture). I know that if I continue I would die an early death.

When you're young it's easy to think you're indestructible (you did not!). Or you can quit whenever you want (you can not ).

to quit smoking is one the best gift you can give yourself and your family. Smoking takes 10-12 years of your life. Plus think about it, just live for the livings to mean little if you do not have good health.

Smoking affects the human masculinity and spoke like a man who is reason enough. Smoking damages the skin, you can always tell a heavy smoker especially women just by looking at the skin. Smoking damages the gums and teeth, heart and lungs and roundness system.

back to where I grew up farmers smoked ham their every winter and smoke houses are still the same place. Why? Since the dry moisture and preserve meat. Smoking does the same for your body.

Most people have a great time getting unhooked, you are hooked. Smoking affects more than just a physical body that also affects the mental state as well.

While the gums and patches to help most people need a mental boost to get yourself "unhooked" from the habit. Few can stop "cold turkey", but very little. I personally have known only two.

This is where hypnosis can help. Hypnosis itself is a great incentive, but if you feel the need to "keep something in your mouth" or think that you can not stop cold turkey, even with hypnosis, and then pair it with the gum or patch. This will increase your chances of quitting for good.

If you have tried unsuccessfully to quit you owe it to yourself to try it again. What have you got to lose except smelly habit anyway? (And a lot of money back in your pocket too!) You'll be glad you did.
